- capacity: 3,500 mouse cages, equivalent to 17,500 mice
- 7 animal holding rooms (~207 sq.ft./room)
- 1 behavior suite consisting of 13 procedure rooms, each assay set up in a separate room
- 1 surgery room
- 1 euthanasia room
- Washroom area includes two sterilizers, one cage/rack washer, one water bottle filler
Testing Capacity:
We offer high-capacity testing with fast turn around and delivery of results. Based on equipment arrangement and availability of separate testing rooms for each assay multiple independent experiments can be run at the same time. Our present capacity is up to 30 independent assays per week which translates into 120 assays/month and ~1440 assays/year. With only slight increase in personnel we are able to run up to 11 independent experiments at the same time (average capacity of 55-80 assays/week, or maximum of 3840/year).
